Awaiting Conflagration.

Following a procession of different bonfire societies, and a firework display, this amazing bonfire was set alight and burned ferociously. Sadly, the lighting was delayed due to vandalism.

@countrylassie. In this region there are various ‘bonfire societies’ each representing a town and they support each other’s parades and bonfires. Hence they are spread over several weekends. They certainly make a lot of it.
