Found this little guy in a pile of branches by the side of a trail. After a couple of minutes another one came up and joined him briefly before the both scurried deep inside the pile.
Great find, Joanne! I love the earthy brown tones of this image, and the clarity of the chipmunk among the sticks is amazing. Such a cute little one...love those sweet ears and eyes and whiskers and stripes and, well, everything! :-)
