This is a flower from a peony that grew, in my front garden, from a seed that planted itself there. I've been watching the seedling grow over several years, looking healthy but without flowering. This year we have 2 flowers. The flowers aren't exactly like any other peonies I have, although they are similar to one other plant. It's kind of exciting to see them, if you are a nerd like me.
