Ha! We still have an open field near our Costco, so for a (nearly) panoramic view, it's a go-to place as well! Don't know about you, but if I stay at home, most of my view beyond the perimeter of the back yard is pretty well blocked!
@Weezilou Same here! As much as I love all the trees, they get in the way...as well as the other houses, telephone poles and lines! I even have a balcony but still no clear view! I try to pull over in a parking lot or on a street with a straight shot.
I was reading the photo and caption tonight by M Brutus, and he speaks of walking through the neighborhood looking for anything more than flowers! We Californians have great weather and no views!
@Weezilou Sacramento is known as the city of trees which I enjoy immensely...until I want to take a photo and one is in the way! :) You are correct...great weather and no views.
@gardenfolk 20 minutes over Topanga Canyon and I am there. We were supposed to have rain today, but it skipped up. Had to turn the sprinklers on instead.
