@gigiflower@judithdeacon@ludwigsdiana@hermann@yogiw Thank you one and all. I heard the photo was too large so I had to crop it to fit the project better. I hope it looks better though I did like the depth and length of the beach beforehand. I appreciate your kind comments. :)
@yogiw I had to crop and make smaller so look at it on black again? Disappointed I lost some of the depth but oh well. I wanted it to fit the page better.
@gardenfolk I'm not sure what program you're using, but when I have a photo that's too large, I resize it in Ribbet. Most of the time it's data and not the actual measurements, but I'm wondering if that might allow you to keep the original size of your photo without cropping it. I know that most programs have that capability. I only use Ribbet because it's the easiest!
@olivetreeann Thank you Ann! I like the sound of easy! What I ended up doing was, I went to Picmonkey and checked the data size on a few other photos, then reduced the size to match others. It did have to cut out quite a bit from my original. My photos are on my phone and I don't have much editing experience. Thank you so much for the suggestion! I will try it! :)
@gardenfolk I see Angie suggested Snapseed and it seems to me I've seen a lot of folks using that here. It has some pretty nice effects if I remember correctly.
