The more you praise and celebrate your life
the more there is in life to celebrate.

When in South Lake Tahoe, we like to have a meal at the Riva Grill. Besides having great views of the lake (posting on May 23,27 and 28) and good food, they make a signature cocktail called the Wet Woody, named after the classic wooden boat era of Lake Tahoe. With over two million sold, it is a world famous frozen rum drink that is delicious. I had red snapper grilled fish tacos and they brought me a free dessert (birthday month). Sitting on the bench outside the restaurant is a bronze statue of Samuel Langhorne Clemens, reading a copy of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Samuel Clemens was once a local reporter in Tahoe before turning to fiction and taking the pen name of Mark Twain.
They have another location on the lake called Gar Woods, named after Garfield Wood. In the 1920's, Mr. Wood designed and built a line of wood boats that were beautiful and fast. This was probably the first location to make the Wet Woody famous!
@louannwarren Yes you did! However, I noticed that one of the photos was not complete so I re-posted and changed it a bit. Thank you for commenting a second time, Lou Ann. :)
@casablanca You can save the airline fee and the $16.50 price tag and make it at home! It is posted above...Although Lake Tahoe is also well worth the visit! :)
