Precious one
so small so sweet
dancing in
on angel's feet
straight from heaven's
brightest star
what a miracle
you truly are.

This beautiful baby boy is our first of 3 grand boys named Dillon. He had his 7th birthday yesterday on Sunday, June, 24. He has the longest eyelashes and precious cupid lips. I do not normally take people photos, unless it is family. I am private about sharing my family so they appear very infrequently. But, I decided to share one of my favorite's of Dillon's baby photos that I took. I cannot believe it has been seven years already!
Unfortunately, I took a tumble off some stairs yesterday, hit my eye and nose (the worst of it), left hip, arm and both palms...battered and bruised. After Dillon's birthday gathering I took a 3 hour nap. Nothing is broken thank goodness. I will see my chiropractor tomorrow who helped me end my three month debilitating knee pain after the x-rays and MRI showed up clean. I have confidence that he can put Humpty Dumpty (me) back together again...
Oh dear CC! Maybe you and I should rent a wing in a hospital somewhere! Please take care and hopefully the bruises will mend quickly. What a sweet baby photo- and I know how the time flies- grandson #1 turns 8 on the 26th and #3 turns 5 on Thursday!
Oh Cathee, he IS exquisite!!! WHERE does the time go?!! He's 6 mo older than our oldest... How is it that our childhoods lingered slowly and the grandkids are growing so fast! Our baby Hazel turns 4 on the 7th...she's a tiny sprite, so I still feel as though we have "a little one"! ...Thanks dear friend for staying in touch when I don't sit still long enough to be as good to you in return! *Hoping* for August to be a month to myself this year...I do need time to catch up...AND to breathe!!! ...SO sorry about your tumble... It took Balanced Therapy to set me right on my feet again, but I take nothing for granted!!! xo
Lovely portrait. I love doing portrait photography especially members of the family, but it is not something that you can put on 365.
Sorry to hear about fall. It sounds painful, but it is good that nothing is broken.
We moved offices a couple of years ago. The new office had a splendid central staircase. We were called to a health and safety meeting about it. We were told that when using the staircase always hold the handrail. If you are carrying something use the lift. A lot iof people thought it was reticulous that we should be told this. It was pointed out that everyone puts their seat belt on when they get in a car, but as it is extremely rare that anyone is in such a bump that you will ever need to use it. Most people go up and down the stairs without using the handrail and you frequently hear of people falling on the stairs and breaking bones. Since then I always hold the handrail.
@ricardo17 Yes...very smart advice! Both times I have fallen on these unsuspecting stairs, I had my hands full, could not see my feet or stairs. I step out thinking I am at the bottom and I am not. I step into space with nothing to catch my balance. Ten years ago, I broke my foot on these same stairs.
Thank you all for the well wishes! I had a double chiropractic appointment today. He had to adjust everything but he is not a bone cruncher or rough...more muscle testing and he uses an activator. Thank you for commenting on my sweet grand boy. He was a beautiful baby and now a cute boy.
@suzanne234 My son has long eyelashes and all 3 boys got them from him. It is funny how boys eyelashes are longer and fuller than girls! Maybe because they leave them alone?!? :)
@Weezilou Thank you, Louise. My grand boys are now 7, 5 and 2 years old. Time seems to speed up as we get older...faster and faster! And, why is it always trash day? LOL! Have a grand visit, nice return to NS and slow down a bit to enjoy doing whatever you want to do. :)
