For the artist challenge of Natalia Goncharova. This is my attempt based on her painting called Haymaking that had small characters in a scene or a similar style combination to the 3 paintings below:

@stray_shooter Did you enter the challenge, Ron?
January 23rd, 2019
@gardenfolk No, I didn't. Was referring to your painting over Ms. Goncharova's....was guessing that it's your creation.

Thank you so much, one and all. When I saw this artist challenge, her Haymaking painting reminded me of the Villeroy & Boch Naïf pattern on their porcelain dishes. So I took a photo of the artwork on a bowl, edited it, processed it, and then painted it in Picmonkey. Something I thought would be fun and simple took me until 4:30am...haha! I would definitely call it a challenge. :)

@louannwarren @onewing Thank you for liking the quote I used too. That makes me just as happy as the photo...they go hand in hand. :)

Interesting thing to do with the bowl. It's a lovely original painting, isn't it? So much colour.

@gardenfolk 4:30 AM?! Wowzy, it’s more fabulous now that I read what you did to create it.

This is such an interesting image. There's so many nice ones for this challenge. I don't know how the person picking the finalists will decide. Yours is very creative and colorful. LOVE IT!!

@casablanca
@casablanca Yes...the pattern was designed by a Corsican artist named Gerard Laplau. I have the Christmas Naif pattern for one of the sets of dinnerware which I love. https://www.villeroy-boch.com/shop/patterns/design-naif-christmas.html

@casablanca @louannwarren I was sorry to read the artist died in 2009. I really enjoy his artwork and am glad I have the Christmas Naif collection. More info on his story:
