It's a privilege
to wake up
in this house
that existed
before us
and will exist
after us.
...Tim Cuppett
I fell in love with almost every home I saw in Cincinnati. They had history and charm with details from days gone by. I saw Tudor, Folk and Greek Revival, Neoclassical, Colonial, Craftsman and Cape Cod, Victorian and fairytale cottage (my favorite). There were so many homes made of red brick, stone, and wood. I stayed at the charming 1930's Tudor home in the center photo.
Which is your favorite house?
In California many average American homes are tract homes made of stucco on postage stamp size lots with the garage as part of the front facade. The other extreme are the McMansions.
The blue one or the lower left. My son lived in Cincinnati at one time. I loved going up there to visit. He lived in the Mariemont district and I loved our evening walks.
