It was windy today so there were lots of kiteboarders on the lake. I always enjoy watching them speed across the water and it's also quite interesting to watch them get all their gear ready for their time on the water. Kiteboarding is not a sport I will ever attempt but I certainly enjoy being a spectator.
Hello Gayle. If you are still checking in, I hope all is well. I missed this lovely shot and am missing you and your photos here. Do check in and let us know if you are ok. I always worry when someone just falls off .... but I know that life does just have other priorities at times.
@helenhall Hi, Helen! So wonderful to receive your message! Hopefully very soon I'll reach a point where all is well. We had some serious issues with my mother-in-law the end of July...demanded my constant attention and I've been back in Texas the last two weeks to be of support for my brother and wife through an unexpected medical situation. I haven't been able to devote much time or energy to my photography. I'm heading back to Canada next week and I'm hoping things will somewhat get back to normal and I can start my project back up again. I miss it terribly. Receiving your comment/message today meant so much to me...thank you very much! I look forward to getting back into the daily interactions and support the 365 project provides. :-)
What a beautiful image! Kite boarders are fabulous to watch...though I have zero desire to try it myself! I'm sorry to read above that you've had a difficult summer. That's even more difficult straddling two countries! My best to you; you're in my thoughts.
I've been checking regularly for updated photos from you too, but knowing that you've had a lot on your plate recently, I guessed that this was the reason. Looking forward to having you back soon on 365. :-)
@Weezilou@jamibann Thank you both for your very kind words. Slowly but surely everything is returning to normal...hopefully I can avoid any crisis situations during my last two months here in Canada and spend my time getting back into my photography. I certainly look forward to that! :-)
Thinking of you as we're flying out of Halifax to California tomorrow. We want to be in Lunenburg for some of the Christmas preparations, so we have to lavr for a month to extend out time.. I feel as though I'm being banished! I certainly have a lot to work on without adding more to my plate for a while! I hope ou an enjoy your last two months, as we will also one we're back!
@Weezilou Have a safe trip back to California! I'm sure Christmas in Lunenburg is absolutely gorgeous! We have to always be careful about the amount of time my husband is out of the states due to his VISA requirements. So nice chatting with you...it feels so good to be back on 365. :-)
Lovely seascape image.
