I couldn't believe my eyes this afternoon when a different dragonfly landed on a spike on the same century plant as yesterday's dragonfly. It stayed long enough for a couple of shots and then, much like yesterday, once this one flew off I didn't see any other dragonflies all day. So strange. I apologize for posting two similar dragonfly photos but since I so rarely see them in my yard, I definitely wanted to include both of them in my project.
No need to apologize for posting a wonderful image. That is interesting that you got two and on the same plant! I love how his wings are rimmed with gold - so beautiful. Nice focus on this guy.
