What an amazing sculpture! At first look I thought my goodness me, this stag is about to leap off the bridge (except that it is very black and not realistic colouring). A good take on someone else's art!
@marshwader Ahhhh.....made you look! You are dead on about the color of the stag. I changed it in edit. The actual color is a strange green, and I took my artistic liberty with it. Never could figure out why it was not done in like bronze or something, other than maybe, the cost to shine it up every few years.
(I see there are padlocks à la Pont des Arts in Paris?)
