Aaaahhh the love of my life in my garden - the beautiful flowering gum tree. This is the tree I was standing in front of in my selfie from yesterday's photo.
It's just started to flower as you can see - one has come out in full and at the front on both the left and right hand side, you can see that the "hat" is just about to come off some other buds to flower. In a week or so, the whole tree will be covered with these magnificent bright flowers!
