We had one mother and joey hanging around our cabin. Every time the joey would pop his head out to say hello she would nudge him back into her pouch :)
Luckily I have several photos taken on our one day in The Grampians that I can use to catch up to this week.
Illness update: The razor blades have been removed from our throats, the Mack truck that ran over every part of our bodies has moved on, the nightmares have ceased and we can stay awake for 12 hours now!
What a grand photo! This just HAS to go to the PP! Seeing this brings back wonderful memories of these gentle gray 'roos that were so nonplussed by our presence! When I saw a joey peeking out as this one was, I gently reached to pat its head. When she didn't seem to mind, I was able to run my hand into the pouch as well. Nothing like that experience happens here across the water! What an authentic Aussie experience!
Awwwww...how sweet! I've gotten behind, but it appears you have been ill on this trip. Hope you are getting better. Need some TLC as Mama is doing here.
