Ritard by glimpses

Ritard

In musical notation this word tells you to slow down; I'm still trying to do the opposite.
Thanks for your wonderful comments about Elsie's First Day; I WILL respond to them all.....
love the processing and the detail of the paper you captured.

@brumbe Hey Paula -- Wow, that was fast! Thank you very much. It is from a very old beginner's book, and the paper is thick and coarse, lending itself to a macro shot. I have much more to tell you, and lots of comments for you.....soon - gotta go! Thanks, Paula, Les x

@cath Hi again Cath, and thank you for ANOTHER fave! Wow! Yippee; what a rush! I take it you like music? I seem to remember a photo of yours from a ways back; it was an elegant shot of piano keys, yes?? Do you have a piano? and do you play it? or another instrument? I studied classical piano for 16 years, and it added a magnifcent, cherished dimension to my life that I shall always retain. Be very well, Les

@glimpses
Hi Les. Yes, I love music. Piano, guitar and cello are my instruments. Don't play as often as I used to though. Hope you are still tinkling the ivories

@cath Me, oh, my! Your talents are so many; how very wonderful. I envy you your piano; I can't count the years since I've had one. But you know how it is; once something is a part of you, you can always pick it up again. My second favorite orchestra instument is the cello. Its rich, swelling resonance gives me goosebumps when played with passion. I also really enjoy the hammered dulcimer, and when I tried one several years ago, I was instantly and thoroughly in love with it. I keep thinking: some day..... I need music like I need air! Be well, Les

@maggie2 Hey there Maggie - Thanks for the great comment. Are you also a music lover? or perhaps play an instrument? I'm finding out how unbelievably creative so many "365ers" in other areas too. It's just so great. Be well, Les
