I have always absolutely loved expoloring old barns like this one (even without a camera!) They are like a museum that preserves the life and work on a small New England farm. Sadly, these farms are fewer in number every year. I treasure and support the ones we have left.
(p.s. I did edit this to get the effect that I couldn't achieve naturally: I added the "sunburst", and then deeply saturated the sepia that I shot it in.)

@brumbe Hi Paula, and thanks so much. Although I love how this came out, I didn't want to take SOOC credit for the dazzling effect. Your comment reminded me to say as much. Happy weekend, Les
@mwarren365 Thanks so much, Mike. The light was pouring in through the slats in the barn, and I had a to do something with them. Have a wonderful weekend, Les
@ralfb Many thanks Ralf - I very much liked your comment, "spiritual". It captured the feelings of contentment and peace I experience whenever I am in a splendid old barn. How are you doing with those delicious Plum cakes?? Eating your fill? LOL Have a wonderful weekend, Les
@crickle1969 Well hello there, and thank you so much for taking the time to stop by with a great comment. And, a new follower, how exciting! I will be returning to this barn and the farm because it holds endless possibilites for photographs, and it feels really wonderful to be there; I get to reclaim some of the favorite parts of my youth (grew up in the country.) I took a quick peek through your '365", and saw so many wonderful pictures! I love the macros, and the Giraffe was great! I'm looking to seeing what comes next! Hope that you are having a great weekend. Be well, Les
