I know I'm not alone in just loving EVERYthing about old barns. I was attracted to all the subtle lines in this shot, and of course, the gorgeous sky.
(Thanks to all for you recent views and well wishes; they are more than appreciated, Les)
Greetings! I'm from Connecticut (USA) Photography is one of my lifelong passions (others including gardening, woodworking, history, and being a part...
@nicolecampbell Hi Nic - Yep, had a nice "farm shoot" at day's end (you'll see more :-D) I'm getting back on track, my spirits are up, and I'm able to see a lot of the bright side of things. it's a little embarassing to have gone WAH WAH! in front of the whole world, but.....The thing I'm most pleased about right now is that I am able to really feel Gratitude again; it feels more like me. Thanks so much, Nic, Les x
@mwarren365 Thanks Mike - This HUGE old barn kind of cracks me up because it has at least 3 different shades of red paint on it! I know what you mean about the wood; builders would kill for it. All of our fabulous, iconic, old, Tobacco Sheds were scavenged over the years..such a shame........once they're gone, they're gone. Take care, Les
@maggie2 Hi Maggie - Things are much better now that I'm over the shock of what I learned I was in for. I'm more myself again, and can see the "upside" of the surgeries - which actually, are numerous. The thing I'm most pleased about right now is that I can once again feel Gratitude, and that feels more like me. Thank you for your many kindnesses; they mean so much to me (always have :-D) Les x
@maggie2 I forgot to thank you for your marvelous comment :-D I have other shots of this barn that I hope to post. I'm a magnet for wonderful old barns; I have a list of ones I want to go back to when the foliage is at peak. We'll see........Be very well, Les x
@aspada Lots of thanks Amy............there's a lot to love about these old barns; the challenge is to show them in a pleasing way. I may post others ......thanks for stopping by, Les
