This is part of Rose's Farm, very near my childhood home. It was a small dairy farm with barns and fields of corn, and was a world I loved that seemed to be frozen in times long gone by. I began working there at age 12 (began exploring there when I was 6 :-D) This is how I pictured ot might look a 100 years ago...........

@nyusha Greetings from Connecticut, USA! Thank you Anna for stopping by and taking the time comment; it's always exciting to hear from someone new. Be well, Les
@purplewitch Thanks as always.......what about you, Michaela? You were doing some nice sepias awhile back, are you still taking them??
It would be great to see them. ta ta for now, Les xx
@aspada Thank you so much Amy; really great to hear from you! Normally, I'm not into a lot of editing, but I was just playing around, and found textures. This picture was perfecto for it. Be well, Les
@melaniesavage Hi Melanie, and thank you so much for appreciating not only the picture, but how much the place means to me . I hope to make further postings from my afternoon spent there. Be well, Les
@nicolecampbell Hi there, Nic - This is a very special place to me; I may make further postings of it. My hand is FINALLY coming around, thank you for asking. I'm managing as best I can. The surgery was MUCH more invasive than we thought it would be, and a complication afterwards slowed down the healing. It was a real bear for awhile, but it is slowly improving, I am much more comfortable, and I start therapy next week - 3 times a week for 2-3 months; didn't see that coming either! Hope you and yours are very well, Les xx
@maggie2 Hi Maggie, my friend - Thanks; I like the way this came ou too. :-D My hand is SLOWLY healing, but It IS getting better; thank you kindly for asking. I've reached kind of a plateau where I've been at the same level of improvement for awhile. But I am much more comfortable, and start rigorous physical therapy next week. Be seeing you, Les xx
@brumbe Hiya Paula, and thank you, as always. I was actually as surprised as I was pleased with this one; I never tried to texture a photo before. it's worth trying again with the right one. Take good care, Les x
