Among the ashes by goosemanning

Among the ashes

A large area of bush, in our local wildflower garden, has been burnt by a recent bush fire. At first glance everything looks blackened and destroyed. But not so. This little wallaby was snacking on the new shoots that have sprung up on the forest floor. Proof that the good side of bush fires is regeneration to the area, which is good for the vegetation and local wildlife.
Beautiful capture

We have noticed that our bushland which was lost in the recent fires here are returning again now too. It doesn't take long does it! Nice shot.
