For the life of me, I just can't take a photo today. I have tried, and tried again. Then I tried once more. After that I gave up and tipped some food colouring into a jug and hoped for the best. If this is the best then I'm going to set fire to something tomorrow.

I really like it! At first glance, I thought it was a tapestry. I think I had one of similar design in college - my free-spirited days when I had no responsibilities and not a care in the world.
It's easy to get lost in a photo like this because the mind wants to make something out of randomness so I've just spent over a minute staring at it !!
I always knew you were a secret colour seeker! Love this shot it's so vibrant , I also love the sense of movement in it and the light. In fact what's not to love about it! Fav
I like it. It's calming. Looks slightly like my one year's old burnt face despite sunsets, cream and sunglasses all afternoon. Perhaps rename bad mother sunburn?

@gigiflower For the sake of my restraining order collection I sincerely hope not...but who am I to say? What seems like a bad idea this week may seem like a very good idea next week - it all depends on which personality is in charge on any given day ;)
@ltodd they're not nice days to have, but I spent a long time walking the dogs tonight, listening to music, mulling things over and coming up with a few ideas so hopefully it's all over
@graemestevens agree - year one I felt the pressure & 6 months in realised my personal 365 journey included embracing these days as 'normal' & learning to accept that. To me, that is the hidden gem of 365 - follow the take one and post for every day even when it is not ' working' - that is when I grew as a person & a photographer ( hopefully)
Hurray for gruesome....I may have a shot that has been hiding in my folder, not fully gruesome but has a Graeme stevens feel to it. Will post tomorrow in honour of gruesome returning.

Fav! Love the color and motion! I have days like that as well, where it feels like moving mountains to take a photo and I wish I could be more consistent. But I just post some crappy picture and eventually the creativity starts to come back.
