There is beauty in the darkness

We did a spot of light painting last night with a friend from the Photography Club - there's a tunnel under the road at one of our local beaches which is perfect for the exercise, so last night we all trooped down there with cameras, paraphernalia and wine...and it was raining but we are nothing if not dedicated (and the wine managed not to get watered down which is the main thing).
Best viewed against the black :)
This is very cool.. what did you use for your light?.. must give this a go one day soon..

Very cool! It looks like a gateway to an alternate space or time.
September 4th, 2014
@julzmaioro Thanks very much - it's a light rope made by a friend, strobes through different colours.
@aecasey Thanks very much - it may well be the way home...

Doh, no tool reference. My pipe is smaller. Hehe... @annied I was referring to this selfie of mine in the pipe here: http://365project.org/amandal/365-year-2/2013-11-19

Graeme, you should do a male equivalent maybe in your bigger tunnel. Should you take the challenge, tag me so I don't miss.

awesome. I did something similar with 2 friends in Geelong, Australia 4 years back-was quite freaky in the dark. We had to climb up out of a road drain gutter which was even scarier. We used candles and torches to paint the walls and I would like to do some more one day. Your light is fantastic! fav
September 10th, 2014
@tracie8266 Thanks very much - we had a friend who did this one night and security guards show up to see what the hell was going on...
