It's Monday and it's already been a rough week. Redundancies are coming, in fact they can be seen lurking on the horizon, patiently waiting to snare their prey.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
Just lovely - the clarity of the front greenery and the blur of the background - makes me wonder just what might be waiting around the corner here.....
Same here just waiting for the new structure to be announced although we don't have redundancies we go on the at risk register, I could sit here though and contemplate life the universe and all that. A lovely scene
Looks like a fantastic place to look for solitude, I would also imagine that dino of yours could lurk in a place like this. Thank you for teaching me new words; I had to google redundancies. All the best for the work!
Hope works works out. We've been down the redundancy path. Scary times. Hope whatever the outcome it is the best for you. This is peaceful and does look like a place to escape too.
@dibzgreasley Thanks very much - what will be will be I should think! @annied There are several shots of Reginald lurking here, but I decided to give him a day off... @brigette Thanks very much - it was great to get an email today from the National Sales Manager (to all users no less) that started with the phrase "I'm pleased to advise that I will remain as the National Sales Manager"... @wearing0 Thanks very much - we still haven't been advised as to whether we're at risk but the guy in the office right next to mine is currently "under consultation"... @overalvandaan It's a lovely place and what is meant to be will be... @susale Thanks very much - Reginald was with me but I thought I'd give him the day off... @tonygig Thank you very much indeed @newbank Thanks very much - it is what is and will be what it will be...
Pretty spot. I think we are heading for very worrying times, my worplace has lost a 1/3 of it's people in the last 2 years. As people leave, they don't replace them, and there was a number of forced retirements and redundancies.
@tomtom Thanks very much - that sounds remarkably similar to what's been happening here. It's never got this far down the food chain before so it should be "interesting" over the next few weeks. @chippy1402 Thanks very much, always pleased to be of assistance.
Mmm I like the greens in this. I was going to post a green shot today. Bee's seemed like a better idea. In my organisation, we live and die by redundancies. It's become so familiar now - it's awful and normal at the same time.
Maybe you will have time to learn a new skill like.... photography? Oops you already do that. I don't think Reginald got the day off.......he's been playing around with your wife
What a wonderful serene image - so unlike you........then again you ARE so full of surprises!! I see your wife has stolen Reginald......oh dear, be afraid, be very afraid! :)
@deliad I did see that he'd been flirting with her... @spanner Thanks very much :) @888rachel Thanks very much - so do I but if I'm not...such is life! @juliedduncan It's a lovely place, about 20 minutes from home by horseless carriage. @annied He's always lurking somewhere...a lot like me really... @lynnilou He was flirting with her all day! And thank you very much :) @nanderson It's a beautiful spot :) @vignouse Sickeningly so - it's about 20 minutes from home by horseless carriage, and little garden call Pukieti which is halfway up our mountains foothills @ukandie1 Thank you very much - we shall see... @mzzhope Thank you very much :) @anazad511 Thank you very much, much appreciated
Scars beautifully lurking place though ....the blues around the stones is lovely......a real, oasis of calm before a possible storm! Scary times indeed...hope all works out! Lots of redundancies over here too..sign of the times!
Now you see, its like this.... One minute strange kinds of B&W images that makes one wonder what runs through the mind of the person posting them. Then suddenly! out of the blue come this green Peaceful shot. What come tomorrow though =) fav
Fantastic shot, I can feel the serenity. It looks like the perfect place to plot world domination and theoretical revenge plots against terrible bosses. Mwa hahahaha
