Solitude. Again. by graemestevens

Solitude. Again.

It's Monday and it's already been a rough week. Redundancies are coming, in fact they can be seen lurking on the horizon, patiently waiting to snare their prey.
Just lovely - the clarity of the front greenery and the blur of the background - makes me wonder just what might be waiting around the corner here.....
November 3rd, 2014
Lovely shot and reflection of the rocks... some where to escape to maybe..
November 3rd, 2014
Beautiful shot....wonderful clarity in the ferns in the foreground! There definitely appears to be danger lurking behind those rocks and greenery...
November 3rd, 2014
@deak68 Thanks very much :)
@julzmaioro Thanks very much - definitely escape-worthy
@panthora Thanks very much - no danger, just me
November 3rd, 2014
So peaceful. Very nice
November 3rd, 2014
@carlt Thanks very much
November 3rd, 2014
A lovely scene. Hope your work situation gets better.
November 3rd, 2014
looks like a wonderful spot to escape - I imagine Reginald would feel quite at home here
November 3rd, 2014
oh that old chestnut - organisation 'restructure' .. change blah blah blah..i feel your pain.. Nice image though
November 3rd, 2014
Same here just waiting for the new structure to be announced although we don't have redundancies we go on the at risk register, I could sit here though and contemplate life the universe and all that. A lovely scene
November 3rd, 2014
Wonderful secret place. Hope work's not too bad.
November 3rd, 2014
Looks like a fantastic place to look for solitude, I would also imagine that dino of yours could lurk in a place like this. Thank you for teaching me new words; I had to google redundancies. All the best for the work!
November 3rd, 2014
Fabulous shot Graeme, lovely eye...Fav
November 3rd, 2014
Hope works works out. We've been down the redundancy path. Scary times. Hope whatever the outcome it is the best for you. This is peaceful and does look like a place to escape too.

@dibzgreasley Thanks very much - what will be will be I should think!
@annied There are several shots of Reginald lurking here, but I decided to give him a day off...
@brigette Thanks very much - it was great to get an email today from the National Sales Manager (to all users no less) that started with the phrase "I'm pleased to advise that I will remain as the National Sales Manager"...
@wearing0 Thanks very much - we still haven't been advised as to whether we're at risk but the guy in the office right next to mine is currently "under consultation"...
@overalvandaan It's a lovely place and what is meant to be will be...
@susale Thanks very much - Reginald was with me but I thought I'd give him the day off...
@tonygig Thank you very much indeed
@newbank Thanks very much - it is what is and will be what it will be...
November 3rd, 2014
A lovely relaxing picture. Chilled out now thanks.
November 3rd, 2014
Pretty spot. I think we are heading for very worrying times, my worplace has lost a 1/3 of it's people in the last 2 years. As people leave, they don't replace them, and there was a number of forced retirements and redundancies.
November 3rd, 2014
When I look at this photo, I think romantic glade
November 3rd, 2014
@tomtom Thanks very much - that sounds remarkably similar to what's been happening here. It's never got this far down the food chain before so it should be "interesting" over the next few weeks.
@chippy1402 Thanks very much, always pleased to be of assistance.
November 3rd, 2014
@nanm I'll take that as a compliment but I think "drowning management" ;)
November 3rd, 2014
Sam
Mmm I like the greens in this. I was going to post a green shot today. Bee's seemed like a better idea. In my organisation, we live and die by redundancies. It's become so familiar now - it's awful and normal at the same time.
November 3rd, 2014
imagine, I you are made redundant you can come here more often...
November 3rd, 2014
This is really beautiful - hope your job is secure.
November 3rd, 2014
@kali66 Hmmm...there is that...
@dide Thank you - it is what it is I guess. We wait...
November 3rd, 2014
@graemestevens as long as you don't end up regretting not taking that other jpb they were badgering you about
November 3rd, 2014
@kali66 Not at all. I guess it is what it is - could even be an opportunity!
November 3rd, 2014
Maybe you will have time to learn a new skill like.... photography? Oops you already do that. I don't think Reginald got the day off.......he's been playing around with your wife
November 3rd, 2014
Beautiful capture.
November 3rd, 2014
Lovely spot. Do hope you are safe from the redundancies...
November 3rd, 2014

November 3rd, 2014
@graemestevens ha ha knew it I felt his spirit there
November 3rd, 2014

November 3rd, 2014
Fantastic shot, I can feel the serenity. It looks like the perfect place to plot world domination and theoretical revenge plots against terrible bosses. Mwa hahahaha
November 3rd, 2014
@karlow75 Theoretical?
November 4th, 2014
wonderfully lush and green... do redundancies come with a significant pay-out?
November 4th, 2014
Nicely done Graeme!
November 4th, 2014
@northy If the worst happens...I hope so ;)
@eyeamlisa Thanks very much :)
