I had posted a photo earlier today which was a result of my continued lack of inspiration and which I was also deeply unhappy with. Deeply. So, it's gone. Then I remembered that this cheerful chap was buried in my garden and has been for the last 4 months, if not slightly longer. He's still not quite ready for exhumation and display, but he no longer reeks and has only a small amount of "mank" left behind the eye sockets so it won't be long now...

Haven't seen this chap in a while... I feel like I am seeing an old friend. An old, smelly, disgusting friend. ;) Waiting for the final "bleached bone" effect with considerable interest!

I was wondering how he was coming along - seems we have a hobby in common: the locals are always bringing me dead things to add to my collection. I await his official unveiling with anticipation.
@mothermalarky I really need to dog it up again and get it finished off. My daughter had friends over a couple of weeks ago and they demanded a tour of all the "burial sites" in the garden so that they could check progress and groan in disgust....strange people....
