Years ago, when I was undertaking my secret Ninja training whilst moonlighting as a Navy Seal I undertook an oath to protect the citizens of this country from redneckery, arse waffle, irrelevancies, arrogance, word wankery and the general tendency of some people to be complete and utter bastards. It has come to my attention that my new line manager (intentional use of the lower case) is well qualified in all of these, so while my job search continues it would appear that I am being forced to swing into action once again to protect the more sensible from the less special.

Yeah. I walked out of my job of 4.5 years a couple weeks back because my formerly decent-ish boss turned into a total Penus Cranium. Things happen, what the hell. Also, I am thankful for Levi Strauss & Co. Or like Sam said, this coulda gotten completely out of hand.

@northy They may well be "people" (I'm prepared to be generous) but they all belong to an exclusive club made up of people aged 30 - 35, which most definitely does not include me. A colleague and i discovered last year that such a club does exist and functions very well within the business, promoting from within and at the expense of any really skill and knowledge. I guess what I'm trying to say is "more than one expletive deleted".
