Once again my "phojo" seems to have vanished without trace. If it keeps doing this to me I am going to have no choice but to lie down on the floor and have a jolly good tantrum.
This shot was taken with an ancient Zenitar 50mm fish-eye lens...it makes my camera front heavy and focus is achieved by moving toward (or away) from the subject. When moving away from the subject I can highly recommend looking behind ones self occasionally in order to stay on ones feet. I've also applied a filter in Lightroom to make myself feel better about being outdoors...nature is best viewed on television.
If I do say so myself, this is rather fabularse on black.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
LOL, have your tantrum and get your mojo back! Hey, we all get it. And you know it does come back. In fact, this shot is gorgeous! Love the dark gloomy feel with the waves crashing on the coast. Nice one, Graeme!
@northy That would be a fabulous 5+2 theme...and I'm well qualified ;) @vignouse Straight work...I shouldn't tell you that I took this wearing only a corset then? And thank you as always. @jack4john It's always better when I'm behind the lens...and thanks very much :) @888rachel Thank you very much - I there must be something dead somewhere in this shot though, surely ;) @susanalena It happened before and I'm sure it will happen again...I shall be a big boy and deal with it ;)
@amandal Thank you kindly nice lady :) @juliedduncan Thanks very much - I find that a jolly good tantrum is a great way to clear the air ;) @tabarlett Thank you very much - they got truly moody with the filter on them ;) @eyeamlisa Thanks very much - I'm sure it will pass. It better pass. @cndglnn Thank you so much :)
Only a jolly good tantrum? Come on you need to put some serious effort into tantrums if you want them to be worthwhile or you may just get moved to safe place and allowed to continue to tantrum until your energy is spent. And this is bad? Come on.....
@jaynspain Thanks very much :) @newbank I like the sound of being moved to a safe place... @dide Thanks you very much :) @creativefool Thank you kindly, much appreciated @mothermalarky Thank you kindly, I'm not that dark on the inside...not on a weekend anyway ;)
you're a tosser - and that is said in the sweetest way - and I don't do sweet very often - I think this is my fav of your corset wearing straight shots!
@taffy Thanks very much - not my usual, but then what is? @susale Thank you very much :) @michaelelliott Thanks very much, appreciated @hermann If there's one thing I can do consistently, it's malevolent ;) @cocobella Thanks very much indeed :) @annied Why thank you lady...I'm not sure about this term "straight" photography though... @gigiflower Possibly - thinking I need to spend a bit of time on landscapes and such like anyway...maybe. @anthonyt Thanks very much - it came to nothing, thankfully @spanner Thank you kind sir, appreciated as always
I don't think your phojo is going to be impressed with your tantrum, but, I definitely am with this picture! I am glad you got yourself out while the skies are so dramatic (I guess it must be autumn over there), and it matches your spirit like Wuthering Heights! I think I need to FAV this!
I do like this! All in favour of tantrums, sulks … even saying 'I'm not playing, its my ball and I'm going to take it away…' When you get up please do more with your ancient lens! It could be interesting and I would be surprised if you couldn't find interesting, experimental, creative angles! No pressure! As long as getting your phojo back doesn't involve joining the pretty masses!
@overalvandaan Thanks very much - I figured I needed to get some practice in and our coastline seems to work ;) @bill_fe Thank you again good sir :) @photomike Thanks very much - taken with a wide angle lens
