Over the Fence

Another day of, quite frankly, excessive humidity and minimal rain (despite the clouds) brings you this, the horrific and desperately unbearable view from my garden looking west(ish) toward the Kaitake Ranges
Oh, yes, your view still sucks. :-P

Very moody. And very unbearable! NOT!!
January 29th, 2016
I'm sure we all feel desperately sorry for you.
January 29th, 2016
What a great cloud viewing back fence :)
January 29th, 2016
Great composition!
January 29th, 2016
Horrific?? I'll trade you! Really great shot!
January 29th, 2016
@lsquared Thanks very much for the kind offer, but I think I'll stick with this one ;)
@kwind Thanks very much - I don't have much choice in the composition as this was taken through the only gap in my trees!
@hermann I don't know how I stand it ;)
@dh It's a tragedy that I have to put up with this...
@jetr It's awful isn't it? I'm considering building a bigger fence
@bill_fe Honestly, I don't know how I make it through the days
January 29th, 2016
That fence is a disgrace - there isn't a straight pole to be seen! What are doing buggering about taking fine art photos when you should be attending to your property?
January 30th, 2016
Wonderful shot- looks so quiet tho:)
January 30th, 2016
@joemuli It's very quiet, just the way I like it when I'm plotting and scheming ;)
@vignouse Nag nag nag... ;)
January 30th, 2016
my eyes... my eyes! omg! the things they are subjected to!!!! bahaaaaaa! so sorry to hear you are tortured by the scenery... don't you have a blindfold mixed in amongst the handcuffs? ;p
January 30th, 2016
Wonderful pic, caption! Always look forward to seeing your pics (not a very exciting life! Haha)
January 30th, 2016
Looks like my view is from our gateway! Except the fence is a little more upright. At least its a photo - I haven't got one yet!
January 30th, 2016
@maggiemae It was a busy day in the garden, so this was all I had time for
@photographycrazy Thank you very much - just a quick snap really before the annual gardening mission.
@northy The last time I used the blindfold...well...ummm...ahem...
January 30th, 2016
What an amazing view to have from your yard. Love the composition!
January 30th, 2016
Your life is such a misery, living on your cramped space with nothing but brick urban walls to look at... no, wait. That is the view from my office. ;) Even more jealous on black.
January 30th, 2016
@rosiekerr Added to all the misery is the fact that if you turn a little to the right of where I took this, there's an unobstructed view of the mountain...and it's quiet, which is perfect from plotting and scheming. It's terrible.
@elishajae Thank you very much - there's more views that this one, but this is the one I decided on this morning :)
January 30th, 2016
Can't see Mordor.
January 30th, 2016
@golftragic It's behind me - I just have to open my gate ;)
January 30th, 2016
Love the dark clouds, still no rain???
January 30th, 2016
@graemestevens Oh that's OK then, you had me quite worried.
January 30th, 2016
The fence is just as chaotic and dramatic as the background.
January 30th, 2016
@yaorenliu I like a good dramatic...fence ;)
@alinz Only a shower...so hot...
January 30th, 2016
and very nice too
January 30th, 2016
Wonderfully moody.
January 30th, 2016
Excellent shot. I love the way the fence is standing, the posts go all which way.
January 30th, 2016
@kategoring That they do...it's barely standing, but I like it ;)
@888rachel Thanks very much :)
@pinkpaintpot It'll do ;)
January 30th, 2016
Lovely moody shot...
@snaggy
January 30th, 2016
@pasttheirprime Thanks very much :)

January 30th, 2016
Love those clouds
January 30th, 2016
@harbie Thanks very much :)
@rachelwithey Thank you very much :)
January 31st, 2016
do you have any idea that i would KILL for a view like that from my place...stop whingeing...it's great...fav
January 31st, 2016
@maree_sanderson I did kill for it... ;)
January 31st, 2016
I like the fence posts as they are and couldn't agree less with Richard! What sad bugger straightens fence posts (and why?) when they could be taking moderately alright photos like this? :-) There.. two insults in one sentence!
January 31st, 2016
@yrhenwr Well done that man, there's nothing like a double whammy!
February 1st, 2016
i like the fence - that is all my brain can cope with atm
February 2nd, 2016
@annied Mine too...it's wobbly, like the fence
