The penultimate shot in the gripping, drama filled series "Things What I Found on the Beach" brings, for your delectation, a slightly deflated puffer fish. Luckily for all involved Mrs. S is currently in her second year of studying as a chef, so for tonights culinary adventure we shall be embarking upon a course of Fugu Sushi. I may not be around tomorrow as apparently this fish is more poisonous than cyanide if prepared incorrectly...but hey, you only live once, right?
In closing - no, not really...I left it where it was.
If you can stand the tension, stay tuned for tomorrows dramatic conclusion to the latest installation of beach related shots.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
Awesome find!!! Super dof and shot and all that :) and I thought you were serious about Mrs S making it, I'd heard about the fugu fish and your fate if not preparing it correctly!! Glad you left it there :)
@pixiemac Thank you very much :) @kerosene Thanks very much and all that - there was no chance of me taking it home, fish skeletons have a habit of falling apart at the drop of a hat...yes, I've tried.
Certainly looking a bit deflated.. @dide and I saw a dead frog on the road the other day and both said if Graeme was here he would get a shot of that..
@joysabin The next one is full of drama...maybe @epcello I decided not to lick it... @kali66 I should stop blowing then... @hermann Thank you very much :) @gamelee Apparently they can only inflate 8 times in their life...not sure how true that is, haven't bothered to google, was told by 16 year old daughter. @julzmaioro He would indeed ;)
Crikey, I'm sure that face reminds me of someone, maybe a pollie? Hope you weren't too disappointed by not getting to taste it, I hate sending Sympathy cards.
@golftragic That "pollie" comment gave me my biggest laugh this evening. Many thanks. @graemestevens Her lips look like a plastic surgeon was here. Hope I haven't offended anyone. Very cute, in a collapsed way. I have confidence in Mrs. S and her cooking skills.
@jgpittenger Thank you kindly - it's just how I roll ;) @golftragic LOL, and they say I'm a nuttier ;) @rosiekerr It takes more than that to offend me...a lot more ;) @joemuli I don't think it would make a very good snack... @maree_sanderson Thanks very much :) @kwind I thought so, in a dead kind of way...and thanks
@annied For some reason I always feel sorry for dead fish. And hungry. @888rachel I may have tickled it ;) @dibzgreasley Very dead and very no thanks, I'm a married man
