I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
@golftragic Thanks very much - it only took 91 shots to get this, and I got drenched. @pusspup Absolutely, I'm standing at the very end of the opposite break water and successfully managed to get soaked to the skin. @deliad They were saying 7 - 9 metres, I reckon we got there. @yaorenliu They should be walked out here to witness it first hand. @annied Thank you lady. I am officially wet.
Knowing my luck I would have decided to walk out on the breakwater to photograph a wave breaking just as this hit taking me and my camera with it! Nice timing!
@skipt07 Thanks very much - it was just as bad on the breakwater I was standing on, but if you time it right you can run between them breaks and get some shelter. I was not dry when I finished. @theboxmanreturns "Back in the day" you used to be able to drive down that quay in all conditions...then port security happened....sigh @swillinbillyflynn I always use my manners around her ;) @hobgoblin Thanks very much - she certainly lets us know who's boss @jocasta Thanks very much - it was a touch damp out there too @maree_sanderson Thanks very much - very little editing on this one as LR threw a wobbly for some reason @juliedduncan I'm on the other breakwater...it was almost as bad as this one in places but just a touch more sheltered... @dide Thanks very much :) @guysnape Thank you kindly - LR threw a wobbly so for a change there's minimal editing. @hermann Thank you very much :) @annied Moist. @karlow75 We're expecting 7 - 9 metre sweeps along our section of the coast. When I took this they were sitting at around 4 metres...and I have to go away for 4 days so I won't be here to photograph the big ones...
@julzmaioro Just a wee bit...hatches battened...
@sstcowan They are indeed...I got a bit damp doing this shot this morning

@jocasta Thanks very much - it was a touch damp out there too

@juliedduncan I'm on the other breakwater...it was almost as bad as this one in places but just a touch more sheltered...
@dide Thanks very much :)
@guysnape Thank you kindly - LR threw a wobbly so for a change there's minimal editing.
