Love the low POV and those bubbles!
February 21st, 2018
Saw on the news that you guys had copped a real belting. Poor old Christchurch doesn't seem to have much luck. Love the patterns in the foam, very fetching.
February 21st, 2018
@golftragic Christchurch is not a place I would choose to live at the moment...having said that, we currently have no safe drinking water...it'll have to be wine.
@kwind Thanks very much :)
@jgpittenger Thank you very much :)
@888rachel Thank you very much :)
@annied Now we're waiting on Cyclone Kelvin...
@novab Thank you very much - I should stop doing that "colour" thing...

Has to be seen on black! The foam in the foreground is lovely! Super image.
February 21st, 2018
@jamibann I've only just looked at it on black, you're right - thanks :)

Nice blue tones :)
February 21st, 2018
Wow -- this is so beautiful! Aftermath of...? And on black, it's deeper.
February 21st, 2018
@taffy Thank you very much - Tropical Cyclone Gita was kind enough to pay us a visit.
@hermann Thanks very much :)
@joansmor Stop that this instant ;)
@bintal Thank you very much :)
@shepherdmanswife Thanks awfully...will you be coming to Taranaki on your travels? Do I need to post a watch?
February 21st, 2018
first time I see the pylons in the distance, or is this not your beach?
February 21st, 2018
As far as I understand, these bubbles are the result of extensive marine pollution. It is staggering to see this. If you did not know this, it would be a picture that you would like to see. The landscape is beautifully captured and described. It has a very large, impressive depth of field. The chiaroscuro is handled very skilfully.
February 21st, 2018
The only cyclone I presume! I had heard that Taranaki had it bad! Your beach is lovely even though your sea is all frothed up!
February 21st, 2018
Lee
Low POV adds the reflections and a close up view of the frothy bubbles for foreground interest. Lovely shot Graeme.
February 21st, 2018
outstanding and especially on black. Hope not too much damage and enjoy the wine.
February 21st, 2018
Fabulous in every way
February 21st, 2018
@suzanne234 Thank you so much :)
@helenhall Thank you...I always enjoy wine...
@gamelee Thank you very much :)
@happypat It was all the cyclones fault...apparently there's a second one brewing as well...
@jerome Thanks very much - we've just had a cyclone whip through so yes, the sea would not be at it's cleanest...
@overalvandaan It is my beach...I may have been guilty of editing them out on a few occasions...
February 21st, 2018
Nice to see color from your “feed”👍
February 21st, 2018
I can see you are not yourself, what with all this colour.
February 22nd, 2018
@jack4john I even had to have a good sit down...
@joemuli It's just bizarre...

February 22nd, 2018
It looks quite serene
February 22nd, 2018
@nicolecampbell It was...the day after... ;)
February 22nd, 2018
@graemestevens - I was in Cyclone Tracy when I was 3 and I still have such vivid memories of that night. I really hate thunderstorms and very strong winds.
February 22nd, 2018
This looks awesome on black. I didn't know you got slammed with a storm until I saw this. It looks like you got dumped on with quite a bit of color, besides the high winds.
February 24th, 2018
@bill_fe I don;t know what's come over me lately...
February 24th, 2018
nice pov
February 25th, 2018
