bubble bath by graemestevens

bubble bath

Another shot of the wanton destruction in the wake (pardon the wave related pun...although to be fair it was completely intentional) of Cyclone Gita.
Our town water supply has been contaminated due to fallen trees so we are under severe restrictions and "boil only" instructions from our noble councillors.
Bottled water has sold out at every supermarket in town and trucks of water are imminent.
I am using wine - red for drinking, white for showering.
All is well in Casa Stevens although we are a little bit pissed.
At least you can see the funny side of things. Hope it all gets sorted out soon. Nice POV

I was thinking of you when the news was on with the troubles of the 'Naki'... lets hope the wine supplies stays up..

Your resourcefulness has to be admired :)

Fantastic POV! Love the texture of the foam.

I'm trying to imagine showering in pinot grigio, my wife would never get out of the shower.

All these bubbles and no bubbly? Wot's the world coming to. Sorry to hear about the damage in your district though. Is your place OK?
February 22nd, 2018
So sorry re contaminated water...great bubbles tho
February 22nd, 2018
@jgpittenger It's only short term...says the council, optimistically...
@golftragic Our place is fine, there's a few leaves on the lawn which has outraged me, but otherwise all is well.
@jack4john I've been in there all day...
@kwind Thank you very much :)
@suzanne234 Or condemned...bu what the hell ;)
@julzmaioro That is a major concern. If we run out of wine all is lost!!!
@nicolecampbell Thanks very much - and if there's no funny side then things would be awfully serious... ;)
February 22nd, 2018
we have somewhat cyclonic conditions here too...hope the water supply situation is solved quickly. love the angle for this shot
February 22nd, 2018
You're keeping your sense of humour, I read! Good for you!!
February 22nd, 2018
It does look like a bubble bath, but it's obviously not what you want to see.
February 22nd, 2018
@sunshinepix It does, it isn't ;)
@jamibann Someone has to...plus I'm quite drunk so it's relatively easy ;)
@hrs They can take their time, I'm enjoying wine...
February 22nd, 2018
What a very ugly picture (is that better?)
February 22nd, 2018
Great pov. My sister in NP will be resorting to wine too!
February 22nd, 2018
I’d be resorting to wine too.
February 22nd, 2018
Great PoV. I'm relieved someone has finally found a use for white wine.
February 22nd, 2018
Good heavens man, you're way more stoic than me... I'd have gone straight to the whisky - and given up showering for the duration!
February 22nd, 2018
@vignouse I save the whisky to use as the worlds most astringent underarm deodorant...
@humphreyhippo And you can throw the empty bottles at passing strangers...
@yorkshirekiwi It seems to be working...
@dide So that's who beat me to the supermarket!
@joansmor Good lord, are you never happy?!? ;))
February 22nd, 2018
Excellent shot. That foamy wave looks rather menacing - I'm thinking The Blob! I did laugh at the wine comment, though I wouldn't be too surprised if you was being serious 😀😀
February 22nd, 2018
@paul10 I'm always serious....
February 22nd, 2018
Ha Ha you make me laugh...............I would never waste wine that way!
Hope you have your water problems solved quickly otherwise it may be very costly using wine!
February 22nd, 2018
@radiogirl It's hardly a waste...who else do you know that can drink their shower? ;)
February 22nd, 2018
conditions sound extreme. hope you don't run out of wine. The frothy wave is spectacular.
February 22nd, 2018
dang, what a way to waste good wine!
February 23rd, 2018
@blueberry1222 That depends on who's cleaning it up...
@helenhall I'm being very careful....
February 23rd, 2018
