Knitting

For the ME EVERY WEEK competition..........skills. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was very young and my mother re-taught me when I was little older. This is will be a purse made of strips of fabric if I ever finish it. I would not say I am really skilled at this either http://365project.org/grammyn/everything-else but I like to dabble. Jackie of all trades and master of none would be a good description of me!
I love this, Katy!!! FAV

@grammyn - I can't even pinpoint why I like it so much but I do. It's natural looking, I've always wanted to learn to knit, I love your hands in it, it's sort of old-fashioned looking...just nice.

At least you're trying...I did learn ho to knit but never how to crochet...mind you nowadays I don't have the patience to sit still.
will you show us when your project is finished? would really like to see it.

I crochet as well and may post a shot of that before the week is out. As far as patience is concerned,I have been working on this project off and on for several years. It is not high on my priority list! ;.}

@maggotx Thanks, Mag. I guess it is the patience that wears out and then I quit..........maybe I should say postpone! ;.}

I think this looks great! -it looks very consistent! I'm impressed with knitters and crocheters. I think it would be rewarding to see the finished product rolling off the end of the needles/hook! Nice work!

@thesandbox5 Thanks,Brenda. Knitting with fabric is more difficult that with yarn so maybe that is why I am so slow getting it done!
