Cuppa by grammyn

Cuppa

I am not a huge hot tea fan and have always thought putting milk in it was unheard of....until I bought Falling Leaves blend from the tea room in town. Let me tell you this cup with a splash of cream, not milk, and a spoonful of sweetener is really hitting the spot on this cold spring night!

Thanks to everyone who faved my moon shot last night and put it on the pp so quickly. You are too good to me!
I have friends who always put milk in their tea when they come over. It looks so weird to me!!! I will have to bring myself to try it sometime.
I like how the design on the mug brings out the tea.... enjoy!

Remember when we were kids and got to have "tea" sometimes with dinner? It was basically milk with a little tea in it, but we felt so grown up to get to drink tea! :) Nice shot... love the simplicity and the composition. :)

Nice shot. I am not one for tea I usually go with hot chocolate or a hot cider. I do like your mug

@kimfaria Well this is cream not milk which I think for me makes a difference! It is also a flavored tea which makes a difference as well. Thanks, Kim.

@marilyn I had forgotten that and that might be why milk in tea didn't appeal to me as an adult. The fact that this is a flavored tea and I use cream instead of milk makes a difference for me. Thanks for the nice comments. I was desperate for my last shot tonight and decided this would work as well as anything.

@bkbinthecity Thanks for the view and comment. Plain tea is something I don't like either but this flavored one is good with cream and sweetener.

I'll have a cuppa with you! That's how we had it everyday in England (we lived there for three years.) It's wonderful. And so is this photo . . makes me want some right now!! You definitely deserved the PP, Katy. :)

@karenann I would love to share a cup with you KarenAnn. Thanks so much for always having a positive comment or suggestion! It makes me strive to earn the compliment. I really almost didn't post that moon shot but it was the end of the night for me and I needed to post something. It just goes to show you that you never know what will appeal to people.

@grammyn LOL! Been there done that! Only sometimes I don't get all three in... I'm happy as long as I have at least one... :)

Deb
I'm a coffee drinker mostly, and I can't drink it without milk. I've tried milk in tea, but don't care for it. Love your Cuppa :)
March 4th, 2012
Congrats on very well deserved PP!!!!! Like this cuppa too!

Great looking mug. Well done on PP

Congrats to you on the pp, Katy. Nice photo of your cup with some tea and something new that you enjoy with it. Warms one up on a cold night.

LOL - I'm a milky tea girl from way back. I suspect English parentage is the source of my affliction:-)
March 4th, 2012
I may have to try that. Congrats again on PP

ah, my favorite drink. We have a few variations and the one i like best is "teh c" ie tea + sugar + unsweetened creamy milk.

Ahhh, tea, the best drink of the day! - living on the other side of the Pond, I can't imagine going a day without a nice cuppa! It was lovely to read the comments from your other follower about having tea as a child and feeling like a grown up.
March 4th, 2012
That's sounds delicious! I love the cream and coffee colors on the mug!

@debsphotos I appreciate it,Debbie. I have learned to like it that way.
March 4th, 2012
@marilyn I feel the pressure to have the one for 365 and I often post it last incase I find a better shot during the day. You know how difficult it is for me to make a decision! ♥
March 4th, 2012
@deburahiru Thanks, Deb. I always put milk i coffee but the trick for me is using cream instead of milk in the tea.
March 4th, 2012
@ruthmouch Thank you Ruth for the nice comments!!
March 4th, 2012
@peterdegraaff Thanks on both comments, Peter!

@jennwearing I realized as I posted that there are probably tons of people in other parts of the world that don't understand why this is such a big deal to me
March 4th, 2012
@debbim Thanks, Debbi. I recommend cream instead of milk. It gives the tea a richer flavor.
March 4th, 2012
@tooki Thanks so much for the view and I like your recipe very much.
March 4th, 2012
@jackiew My parents are tea drinkers but they drink mostly plain tea and never put anything in it. I have branched out a bit.;~}
March 4th, 2012
@espyetta It was very good and i am glad you liked the shot. Thanks, MaryBeth!
March 4th, 2012
I`m not a tree drinker but your cup looks as good as if it was/were hot chocolate.
March 5th, 2012
@bruni It tasted almost as good too, Bruni!
March 5th, 2012
I thought the same as you... until I tasted Massalai Tea!
March 5th, 2012
Oh that sounds so yummy! I am not a milk in tea kind of person either. Tea with cream (NOT milk) sounds like it has potential. Love this shot, such a cool cup with complimentary colors to the team
March 5th, 2012
@maeva I am not familiar with that. Can it be found in the US?
March 5th, 2012
@myhrhelper Thanks so much for the nice words and let me know if you try the tea. ;~}
