Mimosa by grammyn

Mimosa

A beautiful tree which blossoms in the late spring or early summer. I love the feathery blossoms and their pink color!
Such beautiful detail

Gorgeous! I am desperately trying to catch up, but I know I will not be commenting on all photos of all my followers... We are on the road again on Friday to the coast for a wedding and then the real crush of the end of the year begins and then my Alabama trip! If it's true that there is no rest for the wicked, then I must have been a very, very bad girl recently!

Katy, this is beautiful! I tried to shoot them earlier, and they looked so bedraggled. Great detail. I like the dark background, too--really shows their detail.

@eudora You were my inspiration,Diane! I took several shots and lots of mine looked bedraggled too! I like this one and one with the blue sky in the background and this one was my final choice! Thank you so much for your kind words!

Wow, so that is what a Mimosa looks like really close up. What a beautiful photo, Katy. All i remember of my Mother-In-Laws was the mess it made in her yard once a year. It was huge as they get big unless there are various varieties. Fav
