I had another picture almost uploaded when my husband called and told me a friend of his called him and told him there was a great moon showing tonight! Grabbing the camera I ran out and took several quick shots! He was right!
Great shot withe trees in silhouette, and the clouds around the moon. Our little photography group are having a meet up tomorrow night, just before sunset, so hope to get some sunsets and moon rises as well.
it's just to cloudy and although they are moving the breaks are to few with the long shutter speed... uncle I give up and will try tomorrow. Will goggle moonrise time
Wow, Katy!! It's gorgeous ... looks like it's a painting. Beautiful, soft color and great silhouettes too. I've been on 365 for some time and still have not gotten a moon shot that I'd ever put up. You do it so easily! Bravo. :)

Sounds like my house. My husband ran in and told me it was a fantastic moon tonight but have a photo to use, just need to upload it and yes, catch up again. Oh, my. Love this photo, Katy. You take amazing photos of the moon. Mine never come out very good at all.
I love the drama and sense of mystery in this shot.
