Please forgive me for posting yet another butterfly shot. I am enthralled by the rich bright color of this particular species. I may well be like so many of you and the flowers. As long as they are here I am going to shoot them! I did nothing to the saturation or contrast for this one. Cropped it and posted it.
Stunning Chinese lacquer red. In my book you can never have too many butterflies. I could photograph swans all day, in fact I might once octwords month is over. I am always delighted to catch the elusive butterfly, so well done to you. More please :)
Very beautiful butterfly and capture. That's something I rarely have in my garden, and I have been thinking of adding some plants that attract butterflies.
I am in that same place, Katy. When I have time to shoot any photos with my DSLR, I tromp off to the weeds or Outdoor classroom. I tell myself "go do something different" but I can save that for Nov-March. This is a pretty butterfly. I used to know the name of it off the top of my head, but I shot very very few butterflies this year, as compared to my last year and a half. So I forgot!
