My daughter came by today to help me get a shower and told me about what she saw on our sidewalk. She thought it might make a nice photo for my 365 so I went outside to get a few shots. I liked this one the best. I am not sure what caused the leaves to leave those impressions.
Wow, that is so interesting! I wonder what could have caused it!
As far as showering is concerned ... if you have a plastic garden chair or similar that you can fit in your shower it may make it easier. I was given this tip after a hip replacement op a few years ago but I've found that it's very useful for those times when one gets so very tired and just need some support.
@kwiksilver@grammyn Definitely a huge help. I have used a plastic garden chair in our shower for years. I put a waterproof pillow on it inside a plastic bag and cover that with wash cloths to sit on. I live with Vertigo and you find various things to do to make life easier for you and help you become more independent. I opened my cabinet below my bathroom sink and put a regular chair close to my sink to brush my teeth, brush my hair, put on deodorant, etc. I have a lot of things out and handy to use. Cluttered counters, yes, bathroom and kitchen, but you do what you have to.
@kwiksilver@darsphotos thank you for you nice comments. Be assured I am using a shower chair loaned by a neighbor. It definitely makes it easier for both of us for me to be seated at least part of the time. Cluttered describes my bathroom perfectly right now, Darlene! I agree it makes life easier for the time being! (;
I have never seen leaves leave this behind in such a definite string shape. I was thinking it was mold growth? But it surely makes for a cool pattern! Nature's art!
@espyetta It might be frost left from wet leaves. It was a cold morning as I recall. Whatever it was I agree it was a cool pattern and definitely nature's art.
@grammyn So glad you are doing what you need to. My house has been cluttered for 22 years, since my neck injury. You do what you have to. I love having my seat in the shower and so glad you got a loaner one.
