It didn't take TD (Tiny Dude) long to settle in! He only arrived two days ago from Australia and already has figured out which window is the best vantage point to view the birds and other wild life in our yard. Here he is spying on a cardinal and the chipmunk at the feeders.
Great shot! Love this! I was just hunting around for "little people" today, but I couldn't find any in the local craft store. Great composition! Such a creative idea!
Fabulous Katy!!
Another way to position LD without the stand, is to put a tiny bit of blu-tack under one or both feet, then you can put him in different positions. http://365project.org/onie_m/365/2014-01-16
How lucky for LD to get a chance to see a cardinal and a chipmunk together! And how lucky you were to be there for the shot... :) Nice to see someone else appreciate your skill at composition! :)
I know who sent that! Tiny Dude! You will have fun with him! I cannot wait to see what all he gets into. This pic is great. I love the birds in soft focus back there and his tenative peek out at them. that is how you have to move when watching birds from the window ...at least here at my house. You have to move soooo slowly, or they startle and fly off.
Lovely Katy! I have a BD (big dude). My Aunt has sadly moved into a nursing home and I was able to go over to her house and pick up a few things before my cousin sold it all off :(. Anyway, she is an artist / sculpture / painter, etc and I found one of these at her house. I grabbed it up. Haven't taken any shots yet. This one is great!
@luvmynynix you are way too kind, Laurie! Thanks so much for the support. I hope you find your own dude soon! I know you will create some amazing shots!
@espyetta I wanted to get his hands up by his eyes but it wouldn't go! I have already paired Stu with him but expect they will get together again soon!
@tara11 Oh, Tara! I am so glad you got something of your aunt's before it was all gone! Also glad it is something you will enjoy using. Thanks for your nice comments!
He is jumping for joy! I caught him in mid jump!
