Viewing Point by grammyn

Viewing Point

It didn't take TD (Tiny Dude) long to settle in! He only arrived two days ago from Australia and already has figured out which window is the best vantage point to view the birds and other wild life in our yard. Here he is spying on a cardinal and the chipmunk at the feeders.
Boy he's light on his feet.... Wonderful composition .

Great shot! Love this! I was just hunting around for "little people" today, but I couldn't find any in the local craft store. Great composition! Such a creative idea!

Fabulous Katy!!
Another way to position LD without the stand, is to put a tiny bit of blu-tack under one or both feet, then you can put him in different positions. http://365project.org/onie_m/365/2014-01-16

What a fun shot! Love that you can see the cardinal and chipmunk through the window.
February 13th, 2014
Of course he's jumping for joy. There's a cardinal and a chimpmuck and he's thrilled to see them unlike someone I know....
February 13th, 2014
How lucky for LD to get a chance to see a cardinal and a chipmunk together! And how lucky you were to be there for the shot... :) Nice to see someone else appreciate your skill at composition! :)

Fantastic focus and dof!
February 13th, 2014
I know who sent that! Tiny Dude! You will have fun with him! I cannot wait to see what all he gets into. This pic is great. I love the birds in soft focus back there and his tenative peek out at them. that is how you have to move when watching birds from the window ...at least here at my house. You have to move soooo slowly, or they startle and fly off.

@onie_m Leonie! That is so great that you sent Katy Tiny Dude! Maybe Tiny Dude and Stu 2 the Minion can get together for a shot one day.

Lovely Katy! I have a BD (big dude). My Aunt has sadly moved into a nursing home and I was able to go over to her house and pick up a few things before my cousin sold it all off :(. Anyway, she is an artist / sculpture / painter, etc and I found one of these at her house. I grabbed it up. Haven't taken any shots yet. This one is great!
