Silhouette Moon by grammyn

Silhouette Moon

By the time the supermoon gets high enough above the trees so I can see it it is no longer super. I kind of liked this view of it better.

Such a beautiful shot, Katy. I love the silhouettes. You have always taken amazing moon shots. I have no trees around to help with the moon here so getting a white ball in the sky, no detail.

@darsphotos Thanks very much, Darlene! when you are shooting the moon try increasing the shutter speed. The faster it is the less light you will get in the shot and the more definition you should get of the moon.

@grammyn I am still learning shutter speed, Katy. Thank you for mentioning that as I am still learning about my new camera too. I will work on shutter speed as we see the moon every night. Do not have much zoom, just 24x versus 30x on my Sony. Miss the extra zoom. Appreciate your help.
