Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Celebrating his birthday this week at school
A T-shirt from grammy is the general rule.
My grandchildren want them,
My daughter does too,
She convinced her friends they needed a few.

Fox in Socks, The Sneetches too,
The Cat in the Hat to name just a few.
l have spent several days with needle and thread
Creating the ideas I had in my head.

It is lots of fun and keeps me alive
But it does take away from 365.
This evening I offer you a small blend
Of both of my efforts. THE END

The one I keep quoting is Green Eggs and Ham: "Would you eat them in a box? Would you eat them with a fox?" My granddaughter asks me how I remember the lines, and I have to admit I read them about 10,000 times to 2 generations of children. Beautiful shirts! You are so creative...
