i have a shot of this flower amongs the echinaceas but i don't know its name. do you? i like your composition and its minimalistic appeal. i prefer this a million times than to look at the spider which i can see from the thumbnails as i type this. not going there, really.

@summerfield @leananiemand thanks bunches both of you for your kind comments! Vikki, sorry you're not thrilled about my spider but I guess I get it! The flower is part of a crêpe myrtle tree. They come in various colors and I didn't know they grew in Canada.
