Nov. 22 Thankful For...

...four wheels and a steering wheel. When I was in my car wreck seven years ago one of the hardest things to adjust to was the 10 months I was not allowed to drive. Having to depend on someone else for transportation was an incredible loss of independence for me.

Many people throughout the world have to rely on public transportation or walk or use animals to get from point A to point B
we both have red cars :-) .... Seven years it's like you blink and the years fly by. I'm so thankful you are here after that accident my friend.

@lesip I love that we both have red cars and that you are thankful I am stilil here. The love and prayers of my 365 friends helped get me through that bleak time! It doesn't seem as if it were that long ago either!

We had an assignment for photo club- answer the question "what are you thankful for?" Well, you and I were thinking alike! I took a picture of my wheels too!

We don't have much in the way of public transportation -- a bus route that doesn't come within a mile of my house. No Uber or Lyft. I love my car.

Goodness, it was 10 months long? That must have been so tough. I remember how freeing it was when I first learned to drive. We can really be thankful for having wheels. Nice low shot!

Vehicles in much of the country are what makes us independent. I didn't realize that you had been in a serious auto accident. I hope you've recovered totally.

A blessing indeed to have easy access to drive anywhere, anytime...10 months is a very long time without driving - I couldn't drive for 6 weeks (15 years ago) and it seemed like forever!

The phrase "Stubbornly Independent" comes to mind! 😉
And like everyone who knows you in any capacity, I too am exceedingly grateful for your recovery!! ❤❤💖
