This week the Flash of Red challenge is focusing on landscapes and I am already struggling. Ann @olivetreeann has been generous in allowing us to use archived photos because of the pandemic but I wanted to push myself so went out in the cold today. My first choice yielded absolutely nothing! This was my second choice.
your photo is almost similar to lin's @linnypinny and i'm imagining how beautiful this would look with all the foliage in the spring and summer and the colours in the fall. aces!
I think you did a fine job! The weather was BRUTAL today! Are you having the high winds like us? This pond reminds me of the one where you and I walked together in Roswell with 2 other 365ers (where I met you first right?). I like the water fowl keeping their heads tucked in here and the roots of the trees in the water (I think).
@linnypinny thank you. I have to confess I had yours in mind when I took this one! @summerfield I was actually thinking of hers when I took this! When you come in the summer we will go here so you can see it in person! @darylo Thank you! Yes our weather was brutal with lots of wind too. I am not sure what those things you call roots are because this was taken from the car because of that wind and it does remind me of it a little of the pond we walked around with Tara and MaryBeth. @shutterbug49 I am so glad you like it Debbie thanks so much @dutchothotmailcom too kind @louannwarren I appreciate that! @ludwigsdiana very gracious of you Diana thanks @cjphoto There is definitely a difference in how B&W affects composition Thanks Chris @koalagardens thank you Katrina @gijsje I appreciate that ! @yolanda thanks for the view and comment yolanda @serendypyty I really appreciate your support and thoughtful comment Cazzi thanks @randystreat Thank you Kathy! I didn't disturb them because it was so cold and windy that I stayed in my car!!
Oh you have always done so well over these years. I started out very involved and shot my daily but over the years less and less on this site, but even when I make my occasional appearance you still view my shots and comment. Thank you my365 friend
