Some say I am a hoarder. My mother was an elementary school teacher who had to teach her own art classes so I grew up being made aware of the potential reuse of all types of objects. These are some objects I found on a trip to the Gulf of Mexico beach years ago and I assembled them into this trinket that sits on a shelf in my house now.
Your mother taught you a wonderful skill. Being able to reuse things for something new can give such a spark of inspiration and creatively . Once again great details and lighting!
My mother on the other hand, was the original de-clutterer. So I didn’t learn my collecting gathering skills from her, ha. This is a lovely collection, well displayed.
@serendypyty thank you so much Cazzi. I have brought back sand and ocean water from a couple of countries I’ve visited but I didn’t keep very good records so I’m not sure I can tell you which sand and ocean goes with which country anymore!
you are so creative. i just might send you all the shells kicking around here. i don't know what to do with them. sometimes, i'd just put one in my pocket for no reason. aces!
@summerfield sorry I missed this so long ago! I think you are easily impressed if you think this is creative. Most pf the ones I collected are in a decorative jar on a shelf! I don't see the alien!
