I struggle with shooting jewelry. So many of my friends have posted fabulous shots of their jewelry but mine are mediocre at best. I have lots of heart jewelry so decided to give it a go for the macro challenge in spite of my shortcomings.
Very nicely done! The lighting and composition make for a beautiful photo.
(One might wonder why you have so much heart themed jewelry but I know why! ❤🎂💖)
I love the way you have it lit. I think it looks terrific on that background and the background, while interesting in texture does not distract from the subject. The details of the earrings are very nice. So I think you nailed it.
I have the same problem. I'm wondering if it's lighting. I don't do that well because my lighting is makeshift at best. Good for some styles and not for others.
