So..... the Grand Chap wears sneakers everywhere but they are not appropriate to wear with a suit to a wedding. (at least not for a man of his age). It has been a while since he put on a pair of dress shoes but these came today and they are what he will be wearing next weekend for our granddaughter's wedding.

I was pleased to notice that Dan Ariely (university professor) always speaks in public wearing a dark t-shirt, jeans and red sneakers. The red sneakers are somehow a trademark :D Just lovely.
Time for the Grand Chap to start breaking them in. One of the things I'm hating already about the lockdowns going away - putting on real clothes! Heck I might have to really do it if I want to go to church on Sunday.
The countdown has begun!! Yes, as Kathy said, break those shoes in a little bit before the wedding- especially if the Grand Chap wears sneakers most of the time. The leather is going to feel very tight! This makes a really great half and half shot too- and it's only half of what came in the box!
