Your composition skills “shine” in this simple but powerful still life. For me it evokes education and studies in days gone by… reading by candlelight and the bell on the desk of the schoolmarm. I love it!

It says Audels Carpenters and Builders Guide #4 It was printed in 1945 copyright 1923, 1939. I am not sure where we got it!
