In the 80s when I painted in oils I used a wipe rag to clean my brushes as I painted. I was intrigued with the patterns I saw emerging and commented they looked very much like abstract art. I decided to frame a few and even sold a few to someone who thought they were great abstracts. Today with watercolor I just use napkins or paper towels and will NOT be framing any of them.
amazing abstract you created. i photographed a few of my palette paper before i threw them away as i liked the pattern and the abstract-ness i saw in them. what have you titled this abstract then? aces!
One of my favorite painting stories! These wipe rags support my theory that you have innate composition skills… it happens even when you don’t try!
I’ll echo what’s already been said. I love this photo’s composition, light etc. FAV and also love that this framed, serendipitously created, abstract was a byproduct of another artistic creation like the beautiful painting that we see hanging above you every Thursday during Pigs. Never doubt your own taste. What you think is beautiful enough to frame IS beautiful and a whole lot of folks here on 365 wil probably agree with you.

@grammyn Huh! Where did I get the idea that painting on the wall was one of yours? I stand corrected. Still, your watercolors I’ve seen are impressive.
