Rustic Still Life by grammyn

Rustic Still Life

Towards the end of the roll of film I used for the film challenge I was struggling for subject matter but I kind of like this one.

Kodak 35mm 400ISO
I can see why you kind of like it. It's really nice shot! Don't tell me these are from your garden?????

Thanks, Debbi. They are from the neighbors garden. He tilled the rest under a day or two later.

Interesting combination of subjects! Love the rusty color of the old iron and then the veggie pop!

Nice shot! It goes well with the idea of film (it reminds our grandmas' recipes).

@jennwearing They have already. I like them raw and they make a great mashed vegetable and are amazing in soup with a little milk and onion. It almost tastes like lobster when cooked that way.

@maeva Thanks, Maeva. Funny you should say that because the shot made me think of MY grandma for some reason.

Very nice shot--film seems to fit the subject. I love the contrast of the iron kettle and the fresh-from-the-garden radishes!
