There was some discussion about using simple editing processes or more complicated ones to change the given picture for this challenge. I went with the more complicated ones for this, but not nearly as complicated lots of more skilled people can do!
like I said its not a medal winning competition...its a raise your own bar of learning challenge...that being said I think its most excellent...I have really loved seeing everyone's take on my photo and you did awesome :)
@loztsoul I appreciate your comment so much, Trevor! I have lots to learn yet but for this one I used a photo I had taken earlier instead of someone else's so I feel it is a step. Thanks for the encouragement!
I've only heard of "cut and paste," Katy. I truly know nothing about the apps or even the computer. Thank goodness they left us picmonkey. Or I'd have nothing. Even tho I use just a little of that one.
Katy, this is right on the money! It is just like @loztsoul (Trevor) says, the more you work at it and challenge yourself the more skills you accumulate. We're all still learning, and the most important thing to remember is....have fun while editing and picture taking!
@karenann ;~} that must be why I love you so much, KarenAnn. You make me feel smart when in reality Ii am almost computer illiterate! ;~} Believe me if I can do it ANYONE can! And anyway your photos are always so good that you don't NEED editing skills!
@mikegifford Mike, I am honored once again by your praise. I do have lots of fun with this which is part of the reason I do it. It is nice to see what others do and your photos always inspire me to try harder! Thanks!
