This is an edit of a given photo using 5 steps. I used Microsoft office photo manager.
1.Brightness down 40%
2.Saturation100%
3.Crop Rt side 60, Bottom 100
4.Flip horizontal
5.Enhance white
I am not even familiar with half of those terms!! lol But the result is one beautiful POV and composition. (Flip horizontal, enhance white?!) Is this photoshop or something, Katy?! Am I clueless or what. :) :)
@karenann I edited it to show the program I used! Is everything you post sooc? I don't use much processing very often because I guess I am a purist of sorts but every now and then I like to enhance or go crazy with ETSOOI!
What does ETSOO mean, Katy. I'm like "duh!?" I use Picassa to crop and sometimes picmonkey to sharpen or desat or add warmth. I don't know why but most of my photos seem to "reject" alot of editing and so does my "eye" because I am a purist too. (P.S. The name Karen means "pure!" LOL ... no really, it does.) Now I can hear you laughing all the way from Alabama! :)
@karenann Edited The S&*%^$ Out Of It. It is a phrase coined by someone I follow and thought you were in that loop......sorry. You can take a crap shot and ETSOOI it to something artistic and usually totally NOT like anything in the original. Since you don't TAKE crap shots you have no need to learn the process! ;~} Now I know why your shots are so perfect. Living up to the name! ;~} (and I was laughing!)
